Welcome, please bear with us whole we make this website more homely. Its taking time, as we are feeding 22 cats on repeat, every 3 seconds!
First of all, thank you for considering giving one of our cats a forever home. By adopting rather than buying, you're not only changing one cat's life—you also help us rescue another cat in need.
Every cat deserves a safe, loving home, and we work hard to make sure each adoption is the right match for both you and your new family member.
Before any cat leaves our care, they will have received:
✔ Full health check by a veterinary professional
✔ Flea treatment
✔ Worm treatment
✔ Neutering
✔ Microchipping
✔ First vaccinations (at owners' expense and request)
We spend a considerable amount on every cat that comes through our rescue, which is why we ask for an adoption donation of £80 for one cat or £150 for two (unless otherwise stated).
Your adoption donation helps cover the cost of:
Veterinary examinations
Neutering
Microchipping
Flea and worm treatments
Vaccinations
Food and daily care while the cat is with us
Emergency veterinary treatment for cats who arrive needing additional care
Most importantly, it allows us to continue rescuing more cats who desperately need our help.
Every cat is different, and some may have their own specific requirements, but in general we look for homes that can provide:
🏡 Indoor-only accommodation (unless otherwise stated)
🏡 A safe, secure and suitable home environment
🏡 Lots of love, patience and understanding
We also recommend having the following ready before your new family member arrives:
At least one litter tray per cat (plus one extra is ideal)
Food bowls
Water bowls
A comfortable bed (although don't be surprised if they choose the cardboard box instead!)
A scratching post or scratching mat (your sofa will thank you!)
Plenty of toys—never underestimate the entertainment value of a simple pom-pom, feather wand or cardboard box.
Moving to a new home is a huge change for any cat.
Please allow them time to settle at their own pace. Some cats will make themselves at home within hours, while others may take days or even weeks to build confidence.
A quiet room for the first few days, fresh food and water, patience and plenty of reassurance can make all the difference.
Remember—every cat settles differently.
We'll always ask whether you're comfortable with the financial commitment of owning a cat.
We're not trying to be nosey or intrusive—we simply want to make sure every cat is going to a home where they can receive everything they need throughout their life.
As a rough guide, the monthly cost of caring for one cat is:
Item
Approximate Monthly Cost
Food
£20–£40
Cat Litter
£10–£20
Pet Insurance (or Emergency Savings)
Around £30
Flea & Worm Treatments
Around £10
Toys & Treats
£5–£10
Veterinary Care Savings
Around £15
Many veterinary practices also offer Pet Health Clubs or Wellness Plans. These can include routine flea and worm treatments, vaccinations, health checks and discounts on treatment for a fixed monthly payment, which can be excellent value.
Every cat has their own personality.
Some love children, some prefer a quieter home.
Some adore other cats, while others would rather be the only king or queen of the castle.
For this reason, we may occasionally decline an application if we don't believe a particular cat would be happy in that environment.
Please don't take this personally—it simply means we're trying to find the best possible match for both you and the cat. We'll always do our very best to introduce you to another cat who may be the purrfect companion for your home.
Cats can live for 15–20 years or more.
Adopting a cat is a long-term commitment, and we ask that you consider any future changes to your lifestyle, work, housing or family before making the decision to adopt.
If, for any unforeseen reason, you can no longer care for one of our cats, we request you contact us first. Wherever possible, we will help and ensure the cat remains safe.
While you are preapred to make the commitment, we are too. We offer 24/7 support to help you however we can. We offer this commitment of support for the life of the cat.
If you think you can offer one of our wonderful cats the loving forever home they deserve, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
Together, we can give every cat the happy ending they deserve.
Thank you for supporting our rescue and choosing adoption. ❤️
